Hello! Welcome.
While I was pregnant with my first back in 2008 I was the ever seeking, ever in awe pregnant person. I embraced this time as a time for transition, unfurling and discovery. I was intrigued by the birth process, stayed away from people’s need to share their stories and had a deep trust within the process and that of my body and baby. When we emerged postpartum, I eagerly reached out to my fellow new birthing families in the hopes that we could reminisce and rejoice in the absolute wildness of what we have just transcended and what I was mostly met with was trauma, detachment or disinterest.
It isn’t so much the birth outcome that I know to impact how we feel about our births. It’s how we were held, witnessed and trusted. It’s clear we have shifted too far from the ceremony of pregnancy, birth and postpartum. And so, since 2016 I have been following my call to provide tender support for birthing and postpartum families. Together we cultivate confidence and serenity, we get curious and explore preferences and lean into intuition, we find the flow and embrace the journey as it is.
In addition to supporting birthing and postpartum families I am a certified reflexologist and Reiki practitioner. Within these modalities I also have the privilege of supporting those who are looking for holistic complementary therapy for reproductive wellness, fertility, end of pregnancy/loss and peri-menopause. I truly love this work as a way to show up for my community and bring a holistic lens to our whole being.
